Is it just me?

Check mail every 10 seconds

Read blogs about people I don’t know, don’t want to know and then feel like throwing up.

Volunteer to help my fellow writer with his work

Sing twinkle twinkle little star or some other silly song whenever I can

Walk around office bugging people or getting bugged in return (done only when boredom gets boring)

Sign artworks that aren’t mine (this is a serious issue and needs to be addressed)

Highlight copy that needs to be reworked in red and then stare at it for the next week

Have this tremendous urge to whack (with the intention of causing serious injury) clients who think they can write copy

Put up with a menopausal boss

Wait for my phone to ring so that I can listen to my Pirates of the Caribbean ringtone.

Feel bored whenever I have loads of work to do

Delete my trash and then wonder rather worriedly whether there was important stuff I needed (if it was important what’s it doing in the trash anyway???)

Sheeesh I’ve got issues…

Harry dies

July 10, 2007 · Leave a Comment

I just heard that Harry Potter dies in the 7th and final book. YAY I’m just elated, over the moon, laughing hysterically. It was about time that boy died. The kind soul who shared this piece of information will be my eternal friend forever…ok so eternal and forever mean the same thing. I guess that’s an indication that I’ve lost my mind.

Anyway I’m just happy, oh and now not so happy because I have to get back to work. Well there goes my momentary happiness.

June Highlights

The beach party- It was awesome, the volleyball match was fun even though I was cringing every time the ball came towards me. The last thing I wanted was a black eye. The tug of war was also fun well until Nanabanana fell on my leg.

Dancesport – Wonderful. I especially loved the brother and sister who danced. They were entertaining and also the foreign couple who danced at the end. The food was awful but I shouldn’t be complaining because I got the ticket free.

Angie’s wedding- It was ok, thought I’d run into people who’ve come down from abroad, I did run into them but they were busy and didn’t have time to talk so that was a bit disappointing.

Cannes Prediction Night- The food was awesome and that was about it. Didn’t like the event at all.

Poya Bike ride – Jolly. The boys decided to take us home on their mountain bikes. It was cool. Those idiots wanted to impress us and were going really fast and taking quick swerves. The potholes were a bit nasty and me bum’s a bit sore after all that.
